Surgery

What you'll need to know when your pet is undergoing surgery

We perform a wide variety of surgeries in the sterile environment of our operating room. Services include spay, neuter, intestinal, tumor removal, amputations, exploratory, urological, and emergency surgeries.

In addition to high quality surgical instruments, our operating room is equipped with a modern gas anesthetic unit, cardiac, pulse oxygen monitors, and other equipment to ensure the best possible outcome for your family member.

Anesthesia or sedation during a procedure ensures your pet is pain free, fear-free, and movement free. There is always a risk when we use any anesthetic agent. Our team has protocols in place to ensure all necessary precautions are taken before the surgery to minimize the risks.

Our team can chat with you to help you understand the potential risks of surgery given your pet’s age and condition. We know surgery can be stressful for both pets and humans but our team is here to answer any questions you may have and provide support along the way.
